Gelato is a common desert in Italy where it was invented. The enhanced and vast flavors of Gelato rival any “high end” ice cream manufacture. Gelato, by its nature, has lower butterfat content than ice cream. Ice cream typically has around 18%, or more, butterfat compared to Gelato’s 10%, or less, butterfat. That’s not all; Gelato typically is lower in calories than ice cream too. This means that Gelato is healthier for you that ice cream.
Gelato is made by a process which does not inject air into the mixture, unlike ice cream. This gives Gelato a rich dense taste that cannot be actually described with words alone. It is unlike any frozen treat you have tried. We are very proud of the appearance and the taste of our gelato.
Our display case stores the Gelato at 5 – 10 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing the Gelato to melt in your mouth. We can store up to 24 different flavors in our display case with dozens more waiting “on deck” in the storage freezers. We currently have over 100 flavors, and counting, which we can make in house with our Gelato machine. We make our Gelato fresh every week to ensure the best possible product.
